How do I open an account?
Opening an account with Scafftag is quick and simple.
Either call +44 (0)845 089 4060 or download our Account Setup Form and email us or fax it back. A Scafftag trade account offers you:
- £500 instant credit
- No minimum order value
For credit applications higher than £500, normal credit checking procedures will be run and, if approved, your account will be setup the same day.

Please include the required product order codes, quantities and carriage. Product codes and prices can be found in our online products range or you can download our full UK Price List.
Credit card and Trade accounts payment (see FAQ for further information) are available. All email / fax orders should clearly identify . trade account number (if applicable), your invoice address, delivery address (if different to that of invoice address), contact name and telephone number, your order requirements (including carriage charge £8.50 per parcel for UK mainland delivery), plus any special delivery instructions.

Scafftag accept most major credit cards including the following - Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro (Switch).
What are the standard delivery times?
Standard delivery times for standard products (stocks permitting) is 3 working days of receipt of order for UK mainland addresses. Guaranteed next day delivery is available at £28 per parcel, provided orders are received by before 1.00 p.m.

For custom designed products, delivery will take place approximately 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of official purchase order and approved artwork.
Can Scafftag systems be customised?
Both visual tagging systems (holders and inserts) and Safetrak can be customised . see our customisation section for options available.

Can you buy holders and inserts separately?
Yes. Boxes of holders only are available and standard replacement inserts are available individually. However, it is more cost effective to purchase holders and inserts together in assembled packs.

How durable are the Scafftag visual tagging systems?
Whilst not indestructible, our systems have proven themselves in some of the harshest environments around the world including the North Sea, Russia, Canada, the Middle East, the Americas and Australia and Asia. Our tagging systems have excellent temperature resistance and our inks contain UV inhibitors to prevent colour fade. For further information, see the tagging systems product sheet. Our Safetrak system can incorporate intrinsically safe and rugged handhelds for use in extreme environments.
What are the terms of payment?
For Trade accounts standard terms of payment are 30 days from date of invoice, unless previously agreed in writing by an officer of the company.
Can I clean the inserts?
Inserts should not be cleaned and reused. The Scafftag range has been carefully designed to ensure persons using the equipment can clearly identify inspections. By using the permanent ink pen, inserts can be used in a court of law to support your written records. If cleaned and rewritten the information is no longer credible.

Standard carriage is charged at £8.50 per parcel for UK mainland addresses. Variations apply to destinations other than UK mainland.
Guaranteed next day delivery is available for UK mainland only at £28 per parcel, provided orders are received by before 1.00 p.m.
As a guideline a parcel is a maximum of 25kg.

Return of goods
Return of goods to Scafftag is allowed if the product meets all of the following criteria:
1. ‘Product’ is a ‘standard’ product showing up in the Scafftag catalogue/website.
2. Product must be in a good re-saleable condition; no damaged packaging, no damage to product and no other third party product identification
3. Product was purchased from Scafftag (Brady) within the last 12 months.
4. Product has to be a current standard product that can be re-sold
5. We reserve the right to charge a 15% re-stocking fee.
6. If there is a valid reason to return goods outwith the above criteria the Customer Services Team will investigate the request.
